Potatoes
Help
My potatoes are all covered what looks like warts/scabs.
My fist earlys were ok.
But my second earlys are like this and i have just lifted some of my main crop there starting to look very scaby/warty.
What is this,and how do i sort this out for next year?

If they look like below then that is blight, id suggest digging them up before it spreads to the potato. Also see: http://www.allotment.org.uk/vegetable/potato/potato-blight.php

The leaves look ok.

That looks like common scab. If it is then the inside should not be affected and the potatoes will be fine to eat. No treatment so grow resistant varieties next time (per Dr Hessayon)

Scab can often be caused either by dryness or too much alkalinity. Fine to eat as already posted.0
