When to cut strawberry runners?
Hi guys. I have had 3/4 runners in the ground for a couple of weeks now.
Was just wondering how do I know when to cut them and where on the runner do you cut?

Thanks

Does not really matter where you cut them off, but cut both ends so as not to leave a stalk to rot in winterWhen an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray0 -
What do you mean by both ends? the bit closest to the plant?0

I think he/she means the bit close to the runner and the bit next to the original plant ie no green dangly bits on either the new one or the paretn plant.ELITE 5:2
