Hi guys. I have had 3/4 runners in the ground for a couple of weeks now.

Was just wondering how do I know when to cut them and where on the runner do you cut?

Wait until they have rooted [give a gentle tug], a couple of weeks is not long enough, try in Sept

Does not really matter where you cut them off, but cut both ends so as not to leave a stalk to rot in winter

I think he/she means the bit close to the runner and the bit next to the original plant ie no green dangly bits on either the new one or the paretn plant.
