Working Tax Credit / Self Employment

Quick check,

I pay into a pension - should this be deducted for WTC / SE?

Mileage/Expenses - it is paid with my wages - should this be deducted for WTC / SE?

Thanks

I thought you were self employed?

You should be claiming for mileage at HMRC rates as an expense and that comes out of your gross profit.

The pension depends on what type. Talk to your accountant - they'll tell you what can and cannot be classed as an expense.

I'm self employed and employed. Do very little under self employment - under £1k a year.
