hi There,

Im wondering if someone can give me a bit of advice.

A couple of months ago, I was checking my emails, and I noticed an email that apparently I sent to myself!!! I didnt understand this, and I opened it, and it was an email about some sort of sale for shoes or something, from some online shop I had never heard of, but, when I looked at the top of the email, I noticed the same email had been sent to everyone in my address book, by me!!!!! BUT I never sent this email.
I quickly contacted everyone, and told them not to open the email as I didnt send it and it was some sort of spam.

I then changed my password as this was what I was told to do.

Then this morning, I couldnt get onto my email account and for some reason (I dont know why), I put in my old password, and it worked!!!! I checked my emails, and there were 3 failed delivery notices but I havent sent any emails for a couple of days!!! I checked these failed delivery notices, and they were sent to old email addresses for some contacts, and again they were from some online shop!!!!!

Im really suspicious of this now, because I could only log onto my email address on my old password, and these spam emails have obviously been sent to people in my contacts list.

I have Mcafee security, and when I logged on this morning to the interenet it came up with a message saying that intenet and network wasnt protected and I had to install the firewall again.

Is there something else I should do? Does anyone have any advice for me? Im really worried incase someone is checking my passwords.

Jackie
