When I moved from Kent to Bristol I used this removals comparison site http://www.thehouseremovalscompany.co.uk. Its a good way to get a load of quotes in one go.0

www.shiply.com are very good. Its a bit like Ebay with you posting your move and then firms bid on it. They also have feedback from previous customers with postive/netural/negative. They do removals to small items. Also if your willing to share the van you might get even cheaper quotes.
We moved a car from London to the North and was quoted £300+ from firms we contacted. Eventually we did it for £135 on this website because he already had a job in the area.0 -
