I am livid with rage. My boy goes through shoes like no tomorrow so I thought that I would get him a pair of Dr Martins to see if they lasted any longer and hence cost me less in the long run.
I ordered the off cloggs.co.uk for £39.95  thinking, "it will be worth it in the long run". The arrived today with a sticker on the box that says "ex-display model" so I was pretty annoyed about that to start with. You don't expect to pay £40 for some kiddie shoes only to find they are used.
Upon further inspection, the inner lining has been split (looks like a fag burn) and the white foam is exposed along the seam just inside the heal at the back. It is so obvious that I cannot believe that anyone missed it. I am so livid it is unbelieveable   . He starts school tomorrow and is going to have to go in trainers. According to their site, they have no other shoes in his size left so I can't ask for a replacement pair.
Office was closed for the day when I phoned. Will phone tomorrow first thing. Any advice on how I should put it to them?
