Balance Transfer Question

Hi all
I am switching from Tesco to Nationwide credit card, and I have deliberately transferred 100 quid more than my balance in the hope that when I shut the Tesco one down I can just withdraw that to my current account.
Is that ok to do?!

I've just started entering the competitions (July 07). When I win I'll update this signature. Look on the bright side, I shouldn't have to update it very often.
