Tesco in credit question

in Credit cards
Cleared my Tesco card to zero this month.
I owed £193.46, I swear I made a payment of £188.46, so that when they took the £5 minimum payment it would be clear.
Saw they had taken £193.46 out, so I thought maybe that's the way the system works and it had just taken out my payment, plus the minimum out, save two transcations.
Anyway, it wasn't the case they took the £5 minimum payment, so now I'm £5 in credit.
Not a huge problem, just wondered if they would auto refund the £5 or I should just make a £5 purchase and clear it myself.
EDIT...Just to say, there is a possibility I made the full payment manually myself for £193.46 and thought they would just not bother with the direct debit as I would owe nothing.

I've never heard of one being auto refunded, you would have to call them.
Much easier just to make purchase.0 -
Just to avoid any problems, I made a purchase, so now owe £12 odd and changed the DD instruction to take out the full balance.
The card only has the £12 odd left on it and my 0% is running out in August and the balance will be £0 by then.0 -

Cheers, well my statement is due to be produced today I made the change 3 days ago. I'll keep an eye on it, usually it says how much will be taken by direct debit.
If not and they do take £5 only on the statement date, I'll pay the final bit off before the next statement.0
