Confusion with Student Finance

Hi all, please can you help as I am a tad confused to say the least!!
I am a mature, full time student entering my second year in September. Last year I was entitled to Parents learning allowance (have three children 15, 13 & 10) and Dependants grant - this year I have lost over half of the PLA and completely lost the DG - which I was previously entitled to. I have no idea why as my OH annual income has only increased by £2,000 at the most! - earning under 25K.
SFE has said that they cannot ascertain from my bank statements household insurance - even though it states insurance on the DD and I highlighted it, in any case this only amounts to £33 pm!!
I also can't access my application as it states an error on their website and has done since February, even though I contacted them on several occassions -so I can't 'see' the income expenditure form I completed online.
Sorry for the ramblings but if anyone can answer my question I would be eternally grateful.
Thanks

The increase in income would have an affect on your grants here I'm afraid. ADG and PLA are literally £1 for £1. Not sure why they've not taken in the household insurance though, especially if the annotations are correct.0

Thanks for ther reply. They have asked for additional (different) information confirming the household insurance, which I am waiting for the insurance company to send me. I stand to loose about £1650 for the year, when on a budget it's quite alot but heyho. I still get the maximum award though!!
I am baffled my SFE but then again they did ask me to send in my childs birth certificates three times last year - I ended up saying to them, when they asked for them a forth time that there dates of birth were still the same and hadn't changed since the previous month :rotfl:
Thanks again for your help xFinally dealing with debt0
