the picture is clear better than plasma,
lt also records your programmes as well l took advice on here and bought from cw digital what a fantastic co l phoned on friday it was delivered following tuesday, humax has been around for years the are not so well known but are so reliable:T :T :j

the tv above does not record, the one that records is a LGB-40TPVR costing around £1400. Humax is a well known brand name if you are into sat systems, only new to people who are now buying freeview boxes.

There support system via email is a bit slow but thye do reply.

The TV above is an import so you may have problems getting it fixed if the supplier goes bust within the warranty period however as Humax give a 2 year warranty its best to check if this particlular TV is a EU model.

Yes it is illegal to supply electrical goods without a UK 3 pin plug, most companies who supply imports will include a seperate lead or a 3 pin plug that fits over the 3 pin one.

Is it this tv? I'm impressed by what I read in the reviews on Amazon. Apparently it's only sold in Germany, which is why it has a 3-pin lead, bit odd.

Does anyone else have an opinion of this? I have a hard disk freeview box by Humax and it's great.

    Edit: Ah, it's ok..I found this.. http://www.avforums.com/forums/search.php?searchid=7875339
  • Does anyone know the sky remote code for this, i can not get my sky remote to change the volume on the TV. i have looked over the net and the codes i find dont seem to work. Does anyone have this tv and actually use their sky remote to control the tv?
