I have no idea about plasmas or LCD TV's, but this appears to be a decent price:-

To my untrained eye, this may not be as good a deal as the Aldi one - perhaps the experts could let us know?

Not a 'bad' price but the fact the company who are selling it can't spell 'definition' and the "more details" revealing:
Supply AC 200 ~240V 2 pin (needs to be changed to UK 3 pin)
(Which I thought was illegal to sell these days in the UK)They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.0 -
Humax are possibly the best provider in the UK market for Digital Terestrial Television. Expensive but good!
I know John Lewis expensive, but 5 year peace of mind is probably for some, and there's that £20 voucher knocking about too.0 -
I don't believe it has Freeview built in though - the 'digital' part of the name being a bit misleading. They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.0

I have a feeling this isnt a UK model as it doesnt mention a this 40" on humax UK web site only a different model, so if its digital it may not work for UK.
Humax make brilliant digital set top boxes, I have three of them of different models.0 -
Just to reassure people, although I'm pretty ignorant of LCD/Plasma specs etc, I have used the company itself, Rambox, for quite a long time when buying my media supplies - always quick delivery and on the one occasion I had a problem (Parceline hadn't delivered) they were only a quick phone call away and very helpful. They even phoned next day to make sure the delivery had arrived.0
