Don't you know Tesco accept other stores vouchers?

They currently accept vouchers from these stores:

    Asda
    Morrisons
    Sainsburys
    Co-op
    Marks & Spencer
    Waitrose
    Boots
    Aldi

No I had no idea, thanks! I clearly have a lot to learn! :D

So presumably in this case it would work on the same terms (£5 off a £40 spend and with the same validity dates)?

No, haven't tried yet - but I did ask at CS this morning and my usually b***** minded store which is very picky over coupons confirmed that they were taking th Morrisons coupons! Mind you, when I asked I did say ' are you taking them or have I got to phone Head Office and get them to ring you up and explain to you that these are valid in all Tesco stores'!

I was in Cleethorpes Tesco yesterday and muttered something about the Morrisons vouchers this week when 2 x SA (about to change over at till) told me that there had been some kind of edict from head Office that they WILL accept the ones for Morrisons. Needless to say I had not got one with me!

  • I have used other stores vouchers at Tesco before but like others have said it does seem to depend on that particular stores policy I used a till spit Sainsburys voucher last week but was told they no longer accept Sainsburys product specific vouchers (not they I had ever used these anyway).

I have a £5 off Morrisons voucher from the Sun and a £6 co-op from our local paper- both for a £40 spend, do you think I could combine both on a £80 spend at Tesco????

I tried to use one in my local store on Monday & it was also refused. I was told that Sainsburys are their only competitors & they would not accept any vouchers from other supermarkets. I emailed customer services who phoned me to say that they WILL accept these vouchers & if i have any further problems to tell store to check their 'work plan'. Head office also said they would phone branch to confirm acceptance of these vouchers. In the meantime I lost out on £5 off shopping this week! Will try again next week- will not be fobbed off again!

Used one on Monday in Sevenoaks Tesco no problem. Used it with a combined Tesco own £7 off £70 voucher.
