PHI and ESA

I am currently in reciept of ESA - income based, and DLA. My problem is that I have also been accepted for PHI through my employer. My first payment came through as taxed and NI payed, also it was not 75% percent of my wage as promised, but less than half.
The issue I face is whether or not this affects my ESA. I have read many posts on this and it seems to be a very gray area. I realy would be grateful if anyone can help with this issue.

Just a thought perhaps your 1st payment was only for part of a month?
As for esa and phi im not sure, but as its income based and phi is income then maybe?0 -
PHI will be taken fully into account for ESA(IR) and will reduce it penny for penny.0
