Afternoon all.
I have just received my November copy of Woman & Home thru the letterbox, and before I spend ages writing all the details in here, could I check that you want me to carry on adding to THIS thread.
I didn't know if it would be better to start a new one for each Months mags, otherwise we may end up like a lot of long-running threads, getting SSOOooo long it become impossible to pick out the posts you want. Also it may lead to confusion, as it doesn't seem a month since I was writing about the offers etc in Octobers Mag.
In the meanwhile just to say, a rather nice 2007 diary fell out of the bag. Just the right size for my handbag.
Also is 2x 50p vouchers for W&H Christmas Food. One is for use in Sainsburys, the other for W H Smiths. It says it is because I am a valued subscriber, so don't know if you will find them in the shop-bought copies.
There is a voucher on page 179 for 20% off in Wallis - store or website valid untill 9th of November. Cannot see a reference to minimum spend.
Page 169 if you book a Tranquility break at Champneys ( costs quoted = £269.95 - £339.95) you receive a free Elemis gift set worth £60 - call 0870 3300300 and quote W&H07
Page 155 is a spot the difference comp - the prizes inc a digital radio, iPod, dvd set of Desperate Housewives, etc
Page 130 is a phone in comp to win £10,000
Pages 121-2 is "subscribe and save up to 42%"
In Next months issue it says there will be a free 2007 calendar
Thanks for the posters re Best. I just picked up a couple in Asda (40p)0 -
Hi The Old Bag! :hello: And many thanks for your post!
I think it would be great if people kept posting on this thread - but this is just personal preference, and I really don't want to impose anything on anyone.
When this thread was started, many of us expressed their preference for one single thread. In the meantime, I know, others have said it would be better if there were a new thread each month - this would be fine by me too. But, in this case, like you said, we may end up with loads of confusing, parallel threads.
The only thing I don't like, is to see new threads started off for every tiny magazine offer - I really think it's better to have all the necessary info in one place only. But again, this is just personal preference, so I'll just :silenced: now.
Looking forward to reading others' views.'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0 -
:hello: I love this thread with all the mags together, I dont mind how it goes as long as everyone keeps posting. It is much easier in one place.
The only thing with starting a new one each month is that if you get a mag on subscription you get it before it hits the shops, and people may end up buying the old one :T0 -
Yep, I agree it's a good idea to post everything in the one thread. We just need to make sure everyone knows it's here and all the offers should be posted here - like people do with the newspaper thread. I guess it's just a question of getting used to.
And maybe, when people post about an actual offer, they could highlight the mag name and issue in bold or red (like the links on the Pigsback thread) - and it would be easier to spot the offers?0 -
I agree - one thread works well.
I subscribe to the thread, and get daily updates in my inbox every morning, so I can scan through the new posts quickly, and jot down any magazines I want to buy.
That's my two penn'orth, anyway!
And a big thanks to all the posters on this thread - you've all found some great offers/coupons etc0 -
Yes one thread please and if the posters could put the title of the magazine, issue no price, date etc in the heading that would be great
cheers welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

Great post cheerfulness4, many thanks!
I just hope the booklet is not available to PRIMA subscribers only - let's hope copies in Tesco or WH Smith include these booklets too (like they did back in June or July - what a lovely 'coupon chequebook' that was!)
Actually, I think it would be great if someone let us know in the following days whether the Prima magazine on sale in the shops comes with these booklets too.
Once again, many thanks for the info! :T'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0
