anyone have email for santander?

complaints/top dog?

had a bit of a to-do with them yesterday. without going into the finer details but i requested to speak to the collections team as i have a 'deal' with them that i have kept to to pay off the overdraft but am waiting on na cheque clearing on tuesday and had no money due to vet bills to see us through to monday when i get our tax credits paid in.

i told the girl i spoke with our situation and enquired if they would allow us £100 on the cheque waiting to clear.

she said ''dont be phoning me with your sob stories''

it escalated from there because i found that extremely rude, i was merely explaining our financial situation to her. truthfully and honestly.

the refusal wasnt the problem, what she had said was. would only give me her first name and eventually agreed to put me through to her manager who told me he had been monitoring the phone call but couldnt tell me anything about my situation when i queried it with him. so obviously not listening in to the call.

i have his full name and would like to make a complaint. the refusal of the £100 extension didnt bother me as ive managed to source some money [at a cost to me] from the money shop.
There's someone in my head, but it's not me

    Try,

    customer.service@santander.co.uk

But, if i'm honest, phone up customer service and ask them to file what's called a "dissatisfaction". That's basically just their first stage complaints procedure. If you email the customer service address then you'll get the usual automated email but 9/10 the cases seem to disappear after that and customer's phone up asking what's being done, which to be quite frank isn't a lot.

The same thing occurs if you write into the head office address.

    HTH :)

If you feel like you want to make a complaint it would be better to send it by snail mail recorded than email:).

I'm sure their address is on the website.

antonio.osorio@santander.co.uk is the CEO - someone from his office will reply, I've used it for complaints before and had a letter sent out to me so they do actually take notice of what you say. I've also emailed that customer services address, they never bothered to reply!
