What does 's mean??

I know not really techie but not sure were to post.
We were just looking at the TV guide and it keeps saying 's. We have no idea what it means.
I have looked it up and it says apostrophe s basically. If this is true why noy just use the apostrophe??

It's xml for apostrophe, where there's been an error and it's not rendered on the screen as an ' but as the code for some reason. Are you using IE? If so, see it in Firefox and it'll probably show up OK... just to prove it's a glitch.
It'll be all to do with when it was written, by who, when and what they're trying to do with it now that's changed.0 -
