Hubbie only asked me a couple of hours ago to keep a look out on 'my' :) site to see if there was any codes for this,as ours runs out in August.

Thanks so much second year running to get this cheap. :D
  • Hi, First post so be gentle :)
Have just tried to order my raiilcard but got this message (after entering all my details and getting to the payment page).

    Mail50
A promotional code will entitle you to a percentage discount off of the price of a 1 year Railcard. Your percentage discount will appear on your confirmation of transaction page. No spaces should be entered in the code.
Thank you for applying for a Family & Friends Railcard. Unfortunately our system has not matched your data to our Trial Card Promotion.
You can still apply for a Railcard without the code and enjoy 1/3 off adult and 60% off kids fares.

Your advice would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

  • hello all, this is my first post too!

I am having the same problem as kirium (says my data is not matched to the promotion, so the code won't work). Does anyone know how to get round this please?

Or does anyone know another discount code for a family railcard? The best I have found so far is 20% off (code LonMid20).

    Really appreciate your help. Thanks

It looks like you need to already have a Daily Mail Temporary Railcard for the 50% promotion to work....

    Hi,

I too cannot get the railcard offer as I hadn't taken up the 2 month free trial. I thought it wasn't necessary and was waiting for the discount code for 50% off to appear. Is there anyway to circumvent this. My current railcard expires on the 12th August.

    Thanks

I did , but it said someone was already registered with my email address : that is, the one they notified you of the 50% discount on(that would be me, a previous year), didn't appear to offer the discount to previous members? So I tried a different email and because this wasn't linked to the temporary card it refused it. So no joy for me. Have emailed them to question it but they have not responded.
