    I'm sorry you think I'm a troll.
    They haven't sorted it out yet but now overdrawn by £92000, as they've taken money before it has cleared (I don't know why figures don't balance), should be sorted overnight now and no charges applied but have no money until I get a positive balance either. So fingers crossed it sorted.

    Makes them doubly incompetent. As the credit doesn't apply to you - they should simply remove the credit - not do a compensating debit and leave any sort of trail behind.
    If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !

  • Hope this does get resolved overnight. I had £20K paid into an ISA of mine by error. I told the bank and they did naff all about it. I was expecting them to swipe it into a suspense account but they didn't. It took me nine months to get it sorted and I had to threaten them with the Banking Ombudsman!

    Sort of sorted, have a sensible balance - they haven't taken all the money yet but its £8 now so there problem and are sorting but its staying on my account.
