Made to order goods that are faulty

Does anyone have any advice on where i stand if I purchased made to order sports kits (they were made in our club colours of red and black) and have had to send them back as they are all the wrong lengths? Most were 2 or more centimetres shorter than they should have been according to the companies website. The company have offered to replace them but to be honest the dresses were not up to standard for what we paid for them.
I have had a search on the internet and most sites say you cannot have your money refunded if the goods were made to order.

I'm no expert, but most companies will not offer a goodwill change of mind policy on special order/made to measure goods, HOWEVER, they are still subject to the sale of goods act and must be fit for purpose and as advertised.Dogs have owners...my cat has slaves...0

Unfortunately, the DSRs are different for personalized goods, if you change your mind. Obviously, if the goods are faulty, you are covered by the SoGA - regardless of their personalization. Therefore, I would suggest getting the company to fix the fault with the lengths, and then claim they are not of 'merchantable quality', or 'fit for purpose'. The company then has the option to either repair, refund, or replace your purchase - you don't get a lot of say in what option they can choose out of these. The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

'merchantable quality' was superseded by 'satisfactory quality' a while ago.
But yes op, custom goods do not effect your statutory rights under soga.Back by no demand whatsoever.0
