I have no idea where to start or what prices i should be looking at as half decent.

Any advice on what i should go for and if i should let the company i buy from install aswell?

That's such a wide ranging question though. Nobody on here knows where you live so they can hardly make recommendations for installers.

Your best bet is to start off at a website such as B&Q. Have a look through their range and decide what sort of furniture you like the look of then look through Google Shopping or similar to see what other retailers are offering for your chosen style.

Once you've got a budget you can then get yourself several quotes from installers both nationally and local.

I've just had a fitted bedroom supplied and installed by KBBC. They did a good job and were reasonably priced.
