Supplier faliure cover/cc cover

Looking to book a holday with a company that is not a package and not protected by Atol. They are offering supplier faliure cover at £5/person (total £35 for booking) or if I pay by credit card 2% capped at £35. My question is do I need just one of these covers i.e. supplier faliure cover & pay by debit card and if I pay by credit card and dont take the failure cover will everyone on the booking be covered (my family & my sisters family)
Thanks
Thanks

my travel company is making me pay for supplier failure cover but I already have this with my travel insurance. Are they allowed to do this? I thought that this would make both invalid?0
