Hehe, A Taxi Driver would be daft to say they are doing well... why would someone tip a driver who has lots of money???

Glad someone is taking notice Sofaspud1234!!
Drop me a PM and I'll give you a few ideas, I can't share all my secrets though!

In Portsmouth there are over 250 taxi drivers all working fior the same company! I think they are all trained in the school of crap drivers.

I think they have to scrimp and scrape to make any money.

Think I will go and earn £2k a week on the internet...yeah right and then I would bother posting on a thread on MSE

    Luckily school is back tomorrow

I tip a taxi driver on the service and if i like him/her, and not on a sob story. Going on about how their job is crap just makes the conversation awkward. Its all about customer service and keeping the coversation light and easy. Last taxi i was in me and the driver got talking about barbeques. I was going shopping for stuff for a bbq at the time. He started to tell me about how he lived in australia and how pork chops are amazing on the bbq. I liked him and tipped accordingly.

    Their
books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.

Think we have ourselves a spammer here peeps!

Please hit the spam button and let abuse decide but I believe the aim of this post is to encite pms about the 'thriving Internet business'!

If it was legit, they'd just be open about it!

Why is it so unbelievable?? I think you guys need to start being a bit more +ve

I think this is what holds so many people back in the UK, they are just so negative and determind to put people down.

It seems taxiing can vary greatly across areas of the country by some of the answers, there again I would only want to get answers from taxi drivers..

The reason I post on MSE is because I have been in the situation where I am struggling and I understand what it is like to be stuck in a bit of a situation.

... also in my experience if you are in a job then you will struggle to make any sort of money as you are just paying for your bosses lifestyle.

I am not an expert on spamming but I believe that you need to provide a link or a website for the people to visit.

Remember guys if you spend your life putting people down for trying you will never get anywhere, if you try something you may get somewhere..

I know which route I would rather..

You are encouraging people to pm you for more information about your online money activities.

That is covert spamming i.e. deliberately not putting a link as you know it will stick out like a sore thumb.

Some of us are not so dumb as you may like to think though.

But if you are genuinely happy to share your tips, how about posting on the improve your income board?

Covert eh! I always fancied myself as a spy :rotfl:.
I'd be happy to share a tip or two on the improve your income board.

Disclaimer: I do not own a magic wand or a wizards cape (if thats how you spell it), all my success has come about by hard work and some smart thinking, and did I mention hard work...
