Hi,
Is there a certain amount of money your allowed to transfer to a regular current account before you get interviewed by the bank and asked proof and verification of where the money came from?
If memory serves me right is it £8,000+ in 1 transaction?
Thanks.

I put £22000 cash in my barclays account a couple of yrs ago, no questions asked. (although they did suggest I pay it into a savings account so that it would earn some interest....that was when banks paid interest on savings)If you will the end, you must will the means.0
