I returned an order to this company on 18th August and just wonder if anyone else has and if the money has been refunded?

Esther Rantzen and Lynn Faulds-Wood did a programme recently called Old Dogs New Tricks and the company they were investigating claimed to be in Dublin but were not, they werein Belguim although they kept denying it.

I fear you have seen the last of your money.

Edit: Just read your post fully. This is exactly the scam investigated as explained in the link.

Unfortunately as it is international (be it they are in ireland or belgium) the protection laws are much more lower than if they were a UK company. Of cause if you paid by credit card then you can lodge a disputed payment notice with them and claim the money back that way.

Yes it does look like it. Actually my Dad has been getting stuff from Oliveal and the company that Ester and Lynn investigated called Best Of...
I had noticed that both have order addresses at Swords in Dublin but you have to return goods to Belgium so thought there may be a connection.

They're still sending him catalogues and letters which look like he's won £11,500 in spite of several letters telling them to delete him from their mailing list. I've just compiled a much ruder letter so hoping that they'll at least comply with it so he doesn't receive their rubbish if they're not going to refund him.

The two names investigated are their current publications. The names given on the programme were the magazines being sent out. They did mention that other names had been used by this company. I have no doubt that this is one and the same company. The prize money alleged to have been won and the voucher are identical. Might be worth you contacting the bbc with these details to see if they want to dig on this one too.
  • I too am waiting for my money to be returned from this company for the same trashy photo frame and the same promises for a large amount of money.

I think I shall have to say goodbye to this amount.
