I have a frog!! :rotfl:

I have a new build and have been trying so hard to get some sort of wildlife going in my garden to no avail!!
Birds are not interested at all despite me having feeders, water and tasty treats for them. Even the greedy local pigeons are not interested - builders still here so scaring all away i think!
I bought a salvia in the hope of getting butterflies but get bees instead and tonight while sorting out a horrid clay bed this little fellow jumped out at me
He is the size of a 10p
(Had to zoom camera in on him)

He's so cute!
Wouldn't worry abut the lack of wildlife. We've really just been starting to get birds in the garden in the last 2 months, even though the feeder's been up for closer to 6. Combo of it taking time for them to realise it's there, the garden being too open and bare to start with and the builders being fairly near.
Now we've had blue and great tits, starlings, goldfinches, pigeons, and DH even saw a woodpecker the other week.
 Mummy to an amazing little girl

When our DS's were much younger we sunk an ordinary washing up bowl in the ground, (called it a pond
) and was amazed at how quickly we had loads of frogs in it! Great for eating green flies :j Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker

westywoodpecker (love the name!!) What a lovely idea
I have out down a small tray of water and he seems to be enjoying it.
There is no nearby ponds so i`m assuming his come from a bucket of tadpoles nearby xDebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

I have a fog in my garden too. When i went to do my morning tour of the garden he was hoping about in front of me....not quite as sweet as yours though because he is quite a bit bigger. There's no pond in the garden and only the water in a small container or two that the dog drinks from when she is outside, but he has been here for a while now so he must be happy enough!Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

Our gardens( I live in a terrace of old cottages )are overrun with frogs of every shape, size and colour. I love them and they are good for the garden. On monday night it absolutely bucketed down an they came out from every nook and cranny clearly loving the rain.0
