Football programmes - best way to sell

Hi. Can anyone help? I have just started trying to sell off some of my junk and found 2 boxes of football programmes but dont know the best way to sell them. Most are probably rubbish but think there may be one of two that are worth something. Does anyone know a good site to sell them other than Ebay....wouldnt know what to put as minimum bid.

thanks

I sold some in the local small ads as a bulk lot, but got about 10p a go for them. I actually did better on ebay and just started them at 99p and if they didn't sell after a couple of goes just gave them away. I was very surprised by which ones sold and which didn't, Man Utd ones do well overseas but other premier league teams were a struggle.

  • I sold some on Ebay a year ago and learned quite a lot. I was offering a job lot of on of my local towns, and not knowing anything about them started them on ebay at 9.99, got offered £250 within hours. Needless to say I didn't take it, I got a far better offer!!! Non league programmes can be quite valuable from the 50's and early 60's if in good condition. Recent programmes aren't worth much generally, try you local paper or just job lot on eby but do your research first, Good Luck

I've just come across this thread and I'm clutching at straws so here goes

! I am after the Bury vs Liverpool programme from the 25th August 1956 where Liverpool won 2 nil. I would also like to get anything linked to this match too if possible. Do any of you have this? Does anyone know where I begin to look too? I've tried eBay and had no success :(

    Thanks

Have you posted on the want it now part of ebay?
    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/wantitnow/

They obviously come up on ebay one sold in May for £4.64. Have you saved the search on ebay so that you get an email when one does get listed?
