    Hi,

    Not sure if you could claim for interest but I'd just be happy with just the refund.

    The cheque was in our joint names (my wife and I) and obviously was paid into our joint account. This account is hardly used but by putting this cheque in spurred me on to get some savings together. £1500 saved thus far so thanks again Abbey :)
  • I relocated and pain off one mortgage with C&G and took out a mortgage for the new house with them. Sent a copy of the template letter you have on site. Received a letter this morning stating they are refunding £135 + £14.04 interest, a total of £149.04! Thanks Martin, this will come in very handy!!!!!

    £50 Redemption fee,
    £50 Discharge Fee and
    £40.00 Deeds access charge. Does that sound right?
