Is it just me, or is the "sea view" snap rather cropped? I wonder what's below the sea view? Sewage Farm View..?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I'm now an expert on spotting sewage works, wood mills, pylons and various other nasties, oh forgot the off road bike tracks. The satellite photos are brill for saving wasting time
The big turnoff is when there isn't a single picture of the front view of the house!! How bad can it be!!!!
The google streetview is good for spotting nasties next door too, saves a fortune in petrolJust wonder how often they will update it? A derelict house next door, might have new occupiers and be super now.

Just look on the various "house price" sites to see if the house next door has been bought. That should update within 90 days."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

But a good idea thanks, will add it to my check list. Normally check sold house prices before offering anyway
Lots of nice houses are being rented because they can't sell.0 -
Unfortunately won't work if it's rental and new tenants
This is true, but a derelict-looking house is unlikely to attract tenants - at least not in areas you might want to live (some areas a mattress and sofa in the garden is de rigeur...)
The only plausible way a derelict house is going to change status is if someone sells it as a "fix-me-up"er - in which case, 90 days may be too short if it's really bad."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Beanie - happy birthday to your DS too.
Mine has had a good day - a podium finish, some very good skiing, and fun with his mates.
It was manky weather, freezing cold and very wet, but the kids don't care.....driving home was filthy, so took longer, but I am now back in the warm, heating on, and the cat curled up next to me. The children are with their dad for the evening and will be home later, so a couple of quiet hours for me.
Mum did the viewing for me, but doesn't get the impression there will be an offer following, but I will channel my positive thinking and visualise them having a discussion over a glass or two of wine this evening and deciding that my house is in fact their ideal family home.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
