Thanks Hypno, will catch up on that soon. XXX'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Just keep an eye on that Henry - we had one at my last work and he gave me a black eye!!!!! I was hoovering away trying to get glitter up from the carpet (who'd work with kids doing craft at Christmas LOL) his bottom bit of tube came off leaving the rest in my hand just as I lifted it up..... and he hit me right in the mush!!!! OUCH - right on the cheekbone. So not only was he responsible for Redmad's toes but my shiner too! There are some villainous 'orrid Henry's out there - keep a crafty eye on them!!!!!
I'm managing taking my lunch at this new job - no butty shops anywhere near. Should save me a fortune!! I thought of Hypno on my first day at job as they said a few of them went for a 'quick run' after work - did I want to join them - I ran very fast out of the room shouting 'NOOOOOOOOO' I'm afraid a swim, tai chi and a walk are as energetic as I get.

I will keep a careful watch on Henry, then......he sounds like he can be a bit tricky!!
50p and 10p on scratches today so another one is almost up to payout which is good.
In other news, my accident claim has come through, and is in the bank. I have enough to clear the 0% element of my debt in my signature, and will pay a chunk of DS's ski costs for this winter, so that is excellent news. I will make the CC payment later today and will update my signature when I have done so. My signature will then consist of just my mortgage and my barclayloan.
I also need to buy a load of textbooks for DD for 6th form, so will be checking on Amazon later to see if they are significantly cheaper than WH Smith/Waterstones in town. I think it is going to be quite an expensive haul, but some of them will do the full 2 year course so at least it won't be an expense that is repeated too often!
the payment has come through at the perfect time - not just financially, but because it is one battle that I no longer have to fight. I can draw a line under something that has been going on for 3 years and move on from it - that on its own is worth a huge amount to me right now.

It's nice when you can finally write things off, and the cash when it was going to be very tight this month was super timing.
Looks like another grotty day weatherwise here, hope you have better back in England. Plan for today is visit a museum (it normally charges 9 euros, but it's free on Wednesdays), hopefully will keep me dry, and it sounds like it's massive, so can burn the calories in the dry walking around
as well as hopefully letting some culture seep in.
Attacked the hotel fitness room again yesterday, did far more/higher levels, still no aches, so not overdoing it. Going to have another session this afternoon. Basically want to do the most I can without having to have a day off due to creaking too much
Hope everyone has a good day0
