cleaning victorian tiles

I have taken up a 110 year old black and white victorian floor.

Can anyone recommend the best chemicals to clean them?

thanks

It would help if you said what sort of tiles you are referring to. Glazed, quarry, encaustic? Different tiles require different treatments.
Have a look at the HG range of cleaners/restorers, they've got something for almost every type of tile.

encaustic tiles I believe. I have come across HG products. A tiler recommended lithofin or aquamix. Not sure which of the three :)

Any of the three will be fine.

I have decided to go with HG products over Aqua mix and lithofin.

Now I have to decide which HG products:

HG Super, HG Porcelain, HG Impregnator or HG Golvpolish... :(

Hmm... I have a black and white tessellated floor. I think they are porcelain tiles and havent been cleaned in 25 years.

    they are similar to theses:

Are they porcelain and any advice please on the right combo of HG products?

If you are buying the HG from a local tile shop, take samples in and ask them what is best, they will be able to ID the tile type for you.

Yes, the wrong treatment could ruin your tiles.
