I also had a lovely roast free range chicken for dinner, with roast butternut squash, carrots and potatoes, stuffing, broccoli and gravy. Yum yum.
GCSE Day is here
Sounds like our dinner. We had a few more veggies and no roast butternut squash.
Making me hungry and ready to pick at the leftovers :cool:I've just stuffed 24 CV's and covering letters into envelopes with first class stamps. One more to go but it printed weird, typical!
24? What if you get 24 interviews? And then 24 job offers? :eek:Good Luck to Pink Princess and MOTM for GCSEs- Fingers crossed my Year 11s get good results too! :P
I haven't read all posts, but are you a teacher? Either that or you have a shed load of year 11 children of your own....but your sig says otherwise

i've been lurking so trying to keep up, but there is so much to comment on, i dont know where to start because i wouldn't want to leave anyone out.
news in our family -- LO has done a wee on the toilet (last night) and poo on the toilet tonight. I was so chuffed with her. I'm not actively trying to start training her, but she comes to the loo with me all the time and MIL also, so knows what its for. I took her up for her bath tonight and asked if she wanted to do a wee on the big toilet and she tried climbing up. was shocked when it was more than a wee.
Nice to see you again and :T for big loo.0 -
Morning! Much sleepiness in chez GISI this morning as 3am was deemed playtime! What a joy. Still he went back off in the end until 6am.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Morning all, had a lovely wake up (apart from Hubby waking me up as his alarm went off at 5:30 obviously...) Caitlyn was just chatting to herself at 6:55 and then I heard Aimee chatting to her and it all kept going quiet... I went in at half past and they were both sitting there looking at books...

Happy Birthday Bruno
(and Tara if you're lurking...)
Mfd, have you heard about the Sandwell Show? http://www.laws.sandwell.gov.uk/ccm/navigation/leisure-and-culture/events-in-sandwell/annual-events/the-sandwell-show/ We'll probably go... Dave loves that park...
Our church have a barbecue on the Monday evening too which should be fun... If the weather stays nice!! I need to pick up some deckchairs or something though, don't think my back will forgive me a blanket on the floor now...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Happy Birthday to Bruno and Tara. xxx :T
Good luck for exam results.
We were up at 6 - it was bound to happen. OH was up for work, normally he'd do a bottle and give it to V before he left and she'd drop back off for an hour, but not now she can get out of her bed, climb onto mine and poke me in the eyes.
SS I hope you've had lots of lovely sleep and are feeling better. Damn those horrid lady hormones.
I'm not sure what we're up to today/this week.
Playschemes have now finished so we have two more weeks of holidays with nothing to do. It's nice and sunny out though - which makes a nice change.
I need to food shop but don't fancy it with three children in tow.:beer:0 -
SIL gets her GCSE results today... I don't think she'll have done brilliantly, considering she just spelt teachers with 2 Ts...
Don't know what to do today, it's piddling it down here again...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
