    Aww, CAFC, I want one!

I'm still upstairs with very tired wingey pants who's refusing sleep. GLAM well done on J's sleeping, are you following a book? If you are, can you go forward a few chapters and tell me how to keep a toddler in bed.

Where's LADYBIRD? She's had izzy in a bed since very young. She must have some tips?

I've upset OH too. After I'd been up here 20 minutes he came upbto take her our for a drive. I told him to bog off unless he was prepared to take herding every night for the next 12 years!

He's gone to asda in a strop now. He's in for such a treat when he gets back. I bought and am wearing, primark cow print fleece all in one pj's, with feet! Sexy!

Glam - the stacker only happened today but she did it for Daddy too when he got home. I tried to video it but she just wanted the camera then :rotfl:.

The shape sorter has been a week or so in perfecting it and you have to show her which hole to put them in but she does it then. I feel as though in this past week or so since she's been in her own room, she seems to have grown up more - silly I know but she's just doing more each day. She's also standing by herself for a few seconds now - can't wait for her first toddle (know it will be a while yet though).

Think it may be a while before C goes to sleep without me in the room yet.....will then work on dropping feeds but will be a long process.....everything in it's own time... xxx

its all about baby steps! (in both senses!). I don't anticipate dropping the bottles completely for another few weeks and then he'll be starting a new creche and so the evil cycle will start again *sigh*

I can't wait for J to start walking (I'll be taking that back when he does), he has amazing balance and will cruise the furniture but as soon as it looks like he's going to walk he drops to his knees and crawls. *rollseyes*

I watched Supernanny US on Saturday morning and there was a 6yo who still slept with mum and dad as well as 14 month old

They did the lay down thing with the 6yo, so stay in the room facing the corner or stand just outside and everytime V gets up, you lay her back down. The first time you say something like 'It's bedtime Vi, sleep tight my darling', the second time you just firmly say 'Bedtime' and then after that you don't say a word and don't make eye contact. The 6yo got up something like 30 odd times but after a couple of nights she learned that it was bedtime and she had to stay in her bed.
The principle has worked with J at 11m so I would think it would work with V, it just takes lots of time and patience.

They did CC with the 14 month old but she couldn't escape her cot!

Ive bought a few 6-9 month stuff as she's getting to tall again, i didn't want to be caught out again :p

Boots have reduced all Mini Mode stuff :o

    I got Lily this.
I'm jealous - I totally wanted that for Alice but was waiting for it to be reduced and then when I went yesterday they only had tiny ones left. :(

Glam - yeah for sleeping - we're getting there with C, in her own room, going to sleep by herself in the cot and only (I say 'only' lol) waking at 11ish, 3ish and then half 6 ish.

We now have 6 teeth and can do all the blocks in our shape sorter (the same rocket one as Redmel if I rememeber from a photo last week) and put all her rings on her stacker :-)

    Hi Jam

She is doing excellent:D Yes K has the rocket sorter, it is one of his fave toys.....I still have to turn it so the correct hole is at least facing him, he is far too lazy to bother turning it himself:p

I must be super strict mummy, I started 2wks ago on rocking T to sleep and in bed by 8pm, then this last week I have been putting her down semi-asleep and just nipping back in once or twice to dummy her. She has now got the hang of going to sleep on her own.....in another week or so I will start on putting her down wide awake.

She has pretty much dropped her midnight feed, but if she does wake before 2am I won't feed her, I just give her the dummy until 2am, that way she will feed and not need feeding again till 6am which is when I am 'happy' to get up:o

I have just made millionaires shortbread, dh just ate some and asked if it should be renamed dentists delight:cool: While I'm here, is there a quicker way of eBay listing, I have loads of stuff to put on but it is just sooo laborious listing it that I have only got as far as taking photos......I have photographed about 25 items up to now. still have 4 carrier bags full of clothes to do. Oh and some of that is maternity stuff, I feel very:( but know it is for the best:(

    xx
