Tia, that's the exact same one I bought Caitlyn :p

Boo, it's OK, she's not actually suffering... She teethed brilliantly until the molars started coming through and then she had a couple of bad days which is when I bought it... I also let her sleep in it but hubby nearly had a nervous breakdown and insisted it was removed from her neck for sleeping... It came off for bed one night and fell of her leg because she had pyjamas instead of a sleepsuit on and it hasn't been put back on...

Maybe the next baby will need it?...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Yes, I think it did. Tell Marley to stick it in the washing machine, much easier. :p

I'm happy to change to the playcentre. If the weather is bad I don't think V would be happy trapped in a cafe. :(

Why isn't Sami on the list above?

Poor V would think we're trying to trap her in coffee shops after yesterday. I think Sami was on holiday when the list was being done but I thought she'd been tagged on the bottom as a strong possibility.

I'm sure I remember you finding the GP rather unhelpful with other things too. Is there another practice it would be reasonable to switch to or are there not really any options?

We go to the nearest one. The next two nearest ones are both staffed by doctors I know - Josh's friends Dad and some friends of my parents. I wouldn't feel comfortable collecting Josh from his friends house, knowing his Dad had seen my bits :o

Thanks for the other advice peeps. I might go back and see the practice nurse as she's motherly and easier to talk to.

Forgot to say, Charlotte's teacher came out earlier and we had a chat and I understand better how the Foundation stage works. She'll be with the teacher for two years, doing afternoons in the nursery year, then full days in the reception year. Charlotte has never been left in a playgroup on her own, so we've been invited to drop in and play anytime before term ends, just to get her used to the classroom and she can learn where the toilets are and where to hang her coat and stuff. Charlotte seems happy about that and she likes the teacher. She showed her school uniform brochure that we picked up in M&S :D
Here I go again on my own....

Yep, that's where mine came from :D I love how 'themes' sweep through the PT thread, ie the musical seahorse, antilops, amber necklaces, mam bibs. It's fab that we all share little things that help out :)

Aw, poor Caitlyn. TBH sometime's I doubt Isla's but other times I truly believe it's helping her. And even if it isn't they look cute :)

I leave Isla's on all the time, would your OH agree to it being around his ankle if he doesn't want him wearing a necklace? Glad you had a good day today, cheesecake sounds yum!

Yes, I know I said I wouldn't be back on but now my OH is looking at VW beetles online so I'm sat next to him on here  Dead romantic we are! The one night Isla's been asleep before 9pm too.

Pahaha me and DH are just the same, he is on the xbox and im on the laptop, least u 2 are sitting next to each other, im on the sofa and DH is in a chair. How bad is that!?!

I will suggest the ankle idea, good thinking, in a way though I reckon if I was just to get one and get it on T then he would see it wouldnt make him look girly, infact I reckon it would look cool :)

Im thinking about trying T with water tonight if he wakes lots and lots... although I am saying this but in my head I know I will be so tired I will just feed him to get him back to sleep. See how rubbish my resolve is!!

I love the themes too, I am always saying to my friends 'on my forum', lol, I never say which one though as I dont want them checking up on me :o

    xx

:oFor anyone who's been to the playcentre before do they have mats for tiny babies to lie on or should/can I bring Thomas's travelgym? He's much happier lying down playing than he is in his carseat.

sorry for all the silly questions but I've never been to a playcentre of any sort before and dont know what to expect

I had to get up and come back cos I was worried bout Caz and thought I'd given her a bum steer on the hotel. Glad she's sorted.

So Land of Play tomorrow? I'll text NMS in the morning if SM hasn't already done it. Back off to bed now.

    Night all xxx

ETA Gill, there are lots of soft floors for littlies to lie one - you just have to watch they don't get crawled/walked on by the others! You/he'll be fine with all their stuff xxx

ETA2 But you can bring yours if you prefer it to a possibly dirty padded floor...

PS Jillie - will you need a tram to Pic gardens tomoz? Google maps says it's only a ten mins walk from the station? I checked after I panicked about Caz getting lost!

Really off back to bed now. Night xxx
