aless - yes, I sew clothes. Only to patterns - I'm not up to making things without a patern (well I've made a tote bag without a pattern, but that doesn't really count ;0) ) It doesn't work out cheaper, by the time you have paid for a pattern and the fabric it is loads more than you would pay for an equivalent thing from elsewhere. But that is only assuming you can FIND the equivalent thing elsewhere - at least if you make it yourself you can make it to your own size (so if you are one size round the boobs, and another round your hips you can make a frock to actually fit you!) and use fabric you like, rather than whatever is in fashion :)

Now I have to fight the urge to just use black :)

Incase anyone cares, I've chosen this pattern to make some tops with and this one to do some skirts. I figure because the skirt one has lots of different pannels, I can do a plain one for work, and one with different coloured stripes, or some lovely patterns. Maybe the internet has fabric. I may have something to look for tonight ;)

I have aa naughty girl here - keeps throwing her food on the floor so I've taken it away... so now she is insisting on milk. Going to dunk her in the bath in a mo then put her to bed, she is driving me up the wall! We have had an exciting day with not enough sleep and daddy isn't here, so she knows she can get away with being naughty. My other task for the evening will be reading up on disciplinning cheeky monkeys who understand the word no, but don't think it's worth listening to ;) Maybe some of the techniques will work on DH, you never know!

Just downloading the ministry of sound workout DVD :rotfl: i do like some banging choooons. I was going to join the gym again but as Keira has no nursery for the next 6 weeks and the gym has no on peak cards available, I'd have to use their creche if I went, so presuming I went 3X a week it would be £30 for 1 month membership + 2hours for Keira in the creche at 5PH = £10 PD X 3 = £30 a week!

Sod that one right off! Smelly loser gym :p

Oh, and Sami, while we are back at the beginning again, please can you add a "still BF" to the end of my bit on the list? Seeing as all the cool kids are doing it :)

Thing are definitely slowing down in the BF department though. If we are out and about she hardly ever wants milk - not unless we are out late and she is getting tired - too many distractions now. It used to be that no matter what was going on milk was more important, but now she forgets all about it. I don't see morning/evening feeds disapearing any time soon though!

BM it is too nice out to go to the gym anyway - get you both to the park, but instead of sitting and watching her play join in :) We have a game on the swings where I have to keep running round and pushing her once from the front, then once from the back. She thinks it is the funniest thing ever.

Oh I do ladybird, but a lot of the time she abandons me to play with whatever child she has spied from the corner of her eye. At that age I suppose where I'm only useful for pushing her on the swings (and I'd not run round the front when pushing her as last time she hoofed me in the chin!)

I'm really only at the park to provide her with her juice/grub on demand and the occasional £1 for an ice cream from the van :rotfl: What a user! It's much better when they are babies/toddlers, they want to play with you then, but Keira is SO sociable, she will go over and introduce herself to any other kid and probably forces them to play with her :rotfl:

Couldn't find anything I liked in Boots/MiniMode, despite having £25 vouchers (from the engage mutual CTF thing) to spend! Will have to find a bigger Boots with a better selection..

Don't hold your breath. I've been round three large Boots recently with my vouchers looking at the clothes, bought one green playsuit and spent the rest of other Boots stuff.
