  • Evening all :) I've been trying to catch up, but every time I think I have got to the last page another one appears!

MFD! - Glad to have you back... I did multi-quote you, but I lost it. It was something about B being everso-cute, and saying bye-bye to the sunshine. Sounds like he talks even more than Izzy does :)

I might suggest that throughout life, in all areas, we will sometimes discuss people "when they are not present" or "without telling them about the conversation" - there's absolutely nothing wrong with doing so and it's the way life works.

Thank you Bruno, very well put. After all, who hasn't had a moan on here about their DH when he is being a so-and-so, MIL when she is interferring (or to be fair on her, just trying to help ... maybe!), or to has a gossip about the neighbours! Blowing off steam is good for you :)
Ah I feel like such a bad mum

I've had to keep Keira off nursery again today, because TMI, ...

I echo the "go to the doctors", but everyone has said that already.
Oh I forgot to mention, me and Keira are off to mosque next Friday It's the end of Ramadan and Keira's gran asked me and Keira if we wanted to go up to hers after she went to mosque for some food and banter. I said sure and said "oh we will just come to mosque with you" I think she almost stroked We just sit at the back anyways, not like we participate, but I think it would be good for Keira to witness something out of the ordinary to us, and something that's important to her Gran.
I think that is a really good idea :) Good for Keira to learn about it all. And it will help her to stay close to her grandparents too.

Sami - ta for that, very interesting.

AF - I had missed that you are moving. Getting your own place at last? Hooorah for the sleep!

    Tia - Hoorah for secrets!

Krystal - fingers crossed for Mr Krystal. Lets hope it turns out to be a false alarm/weirdo blip!

I've had a busy day at my interview/selection day thingy. Nothing I couldn't cope with, shall see what happens. I have a feeling they may decide I'm overqualified (or at least assume they can't afford me without asking, seeing as I'm prepared to take a cut for a job I can walk to, but no-one asked me so I couldn't tell them.)

I'm sorry, but how is the latter post (at which some of you took umbrage) any worse than the first?

Both posts should have been ignored, rather than having a go at MOTM for how he reponded - or are we all to take sides now?

I expect this post won't be thanked by most of you still here, as it will be seen to be supporting MOTM. I think I shall retreat to the Arms for a while until the squabbling stops - at least there, fights are carried out in public rather than abusive PMs.

MOTM is prattling on about going to the police about a PM he claims to have received. The post you quoted from me was in response to his accusation that i sent the abusive PM from the other night.

The post you then quoted from him was his failed attempt at turning the focus onto me, despite the fact it is not me with gaping holes in my stories. No one has any reason to doubt what i've said and wonder if i'm living out a fantasy with an exaggerated online persona.

A couple of people responded to his accusation that my neighbours and kids don't actually exist, because they know that to be false.

MOTM has been extremely clever in getting people to feel sorry for him, by saying he's received abuse via PM. Well... suppose the PM doesn't exist..?* Then Tia and me are the only people to have said anything remotely 'bad' to him, and i don't think that warrants the army of people he has now feeling sorry for him. I'm pretty sure he can handle me and Tia himself.

And btw my post (which has now been deleted) actually only said that i don't think the police will care. I did not say i thought he was a fake, i merely speculated on what the PM (most likely) said.

    * he claims to have sent this PM to several people, i guess you are one of them and can confirm whether it does exist or not?

SS, it was a hypothetical! Names and details had been changed to protect the innocent :) I adore your ellipses.

They had better have been hypothetical Mr countdown...dissing the grammar of MFD is asking for more than an abusive pm ;)

And it just cost me about twenty quid to tell you that!

Evening all cant remember much as usual!

SJ - we (me and OH) had PBs for years too and didnt win anything so we cashed them on to buy baby stuff.

EA - lovely pics as always and great new pc :D I have a pic similar of T with her foot up on my FB page :D

Gill - yeay for a good money week :D

SS - I can no longer drink hot tea or coffee even if T isnt around.

Kindof - just wondering cos E goes down earlier than T, does he nap much through the day?

Well got Ts pictures done again at pixifoto, I was only going to get the freebie but having looked at the other ones she has taken am sorely tempted to get the others, am sneakily gonna take MIL with us when I collect them tho cos I know she'll want to buy one hehe.

Can anyone recommend some good bibs for weaning? We are currently using some really lovely terry tabard style bibs that MIL brought back from portugal, but we only have 3 and they require washing after every use so now she is eating more than once a day I need more.

we have the 'pelican' bibs but Kian can pull them off (waste of £2) i have some plastic ones that his arms go into and he cant pull off. they just need a wipe down then. they are like the paint/ water play bibs you buy for toddlers
