back to work , dla with tax credits

atm iam on income support and dla higher care and lower moblity 24 and this is my only income no kids
i really want to work not quite yet thou probs after medcail stuff sorted in next 6 months but if i was on min wage doing 16 hours a week how much would i be entiteld to , basicly iam i better of working or staying on income support and my dla , and what would i be entitaled to for working tax credit x

i dont have a printer , i did read a few things few times over just dint get it but something about the basic entitalment dont no if i would get that plus the other two disablity premiums but i dont no whats right or what , i have tryed to do the entitailed 2 form before i just get stressed and leave it or doubt myslef if its right and my friend isnt able to help me like she normally does why i wanted to answer from someone that knows

Have a go and copy the results over to here. We'll tell you if they look right or not. Just do the calculation, don't worry about the surrounding information, you won't need that to work out the figures.

to give you an idea my son is also on HRC DLA /LRM and works at a little job for our council - he earns £102 per week working 30+ hours on an apprenticeship scheme
he is entitled to £122.36 WTC per week according to HMRC
of course what you are entitled to depends on how much you earn - but hopefully this will give you some idea of amounts - do note that you will receive less than this if you only work 16 hours per week0 -

says nothing about the dla i get or if i would get any income support still of council tax and is the rent thing above correct ????
