Should we sell or rent it out?

I'm in a very similar situation and it sucks. Luckily we don't have to move now, we just really really want to. Trying to get my bf to understand that buying isn't the be all and end all is impossible. :mad:saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.
We're 29% of the way there...0 -
Thanks for all the advice! OH is working away at the min, and it's really him that is struggling to make a decision- to stay in expensive house alone and keep job- or sell and move to no job. I've left it with him now. The worst part is that it's a daft one bedroom house with no possibility of renting a spare room out, or that could be ideal. I've decided I'll probably only stay in the job for 18 months anyway (it's possible for me to just do the first part of training there and then move back).
I thought about staff accommodation, but just to make it a bit more complicated we have a dog that I need to take because OH works abroad so often! At least I'll have some company.
If anyone is reading this and thinking of buying- always think carefully about whether this is 100% the right choice for you. Four years ago it seemed perfect, but now our house is causing so many problems. The most ideal thing would be for me to move back as soon as possible I think...0
