CTC paid into the wrong bank!!

can anyone help please? i was owed #423 from last tax year which was paid on 1st july but into my old bank not the current one my tax creds gets paid into, my old account is going through a DRO thats why i phoned tax creds and changed my bank! theyre saying cos its last years claim that had last years bank on so they paid that! & say there's nothing i can do(the bank will not allow me the money) I am so gutted and don't know what to do

P.S i will also be taking it up with the bank as theyre not suppose to recover the debt while going through a DRO but theyve kinda been handed this money!! so dont know what will happen here either??0
