From a personal point of view I am staggered. This MP is Minister of State for Dept of Health and now needs to apologise to people with restricted growth.
I plan to write to him and ask him how I can explain to my daughter why he used the word dwarf as an insult. ( She suffers from dwarfism and will not grow much more than a metre tall.)

We need to fight the discrimination which still exists.

Best wishes,

Bob

I agree, plus I would take anything written in the Daily Mail with a large pinch of salt!

For goodness sake...people get into tiss over the most ridiculous of things.

So what? He could have said "Sanctimonious Brunette Dwarf"....do we have to throw our arms up in protest for the Brunettes of the country?
