From a personal point of view I am staggered. This MP is Minister of State for Dept of Health and now needs to apologise to people with restricted growth.
I plan to write to him and ask him how I can explain to my daughter why he used the word dwarf as an insult. ( She suffers from dwarfism and will not grow much more than a metre tall.)


We need to fight the discrimination which still exists.

the remark was directed at one person and burns has made a grovelling appology,stuff like this is best ignored rather than fanning the flame of publicity for it.

I agree, plus I would take anything written in the Daily Mail with a large pinch of salt!
