Well this afternoon I was told the directors has voluntarily put the company into liquidation - I think this is Insolvency?
Anyway I am still owed wages from June plus 1st week of July and have been given a form the company dealing with the assets, it basically a table with personal details, how much I earn, how much I'm owed, holiday taken / still owed and any overtime owed, I'm not sure what this form is called.
Anyway, my question is when I submit this form who actually pays my outstanding money and will it be at full pay or the reduced £380 which I'm told I'll get paid per week per year for redundancy.
Lastly I'm told we're able to continue working up to 8 weeks to finish started jobs, in reality this will be 2 weeks max but again am I guaranteed to get Junes wages plus 3 weeks of July?
Thanks

Sounds like form RP1 and you will can claim up to 8 weeks non paid wages (max £380 per week). This will be paid by the redundancy payments office.
If the administrators are paying you to work an extra 2 weeks they should pay you at your normal rate for only these 2 weeks. Worth doing if you think there is a chance of someone buying the company as you will be there and will know if there are any jobs available.
If you are redundant then the RF1 form will also allow you to claim for redundancy if you have been in the job for over 2 years.
Talk to the administators, they should be able to answer your questions.0 -
Thanks, so 8 weeks max wages capped at £380 does that include any outstanding holiday?
Its the liquidator who has said its in everyones best interest we all carry on working to finish the outstanding jobs and boss has reiterated it but this will be at the capped £3800
