Im looking to go to Turkey with the wife and 3 kids, age 16, 7 and 1.
Wheres the best place to go?
Would like a nice apartment or villa.
Would even consider all inclusive if the place and price was right.
I would love to hear some of your recommendations and any tips and advice.
Thanks Lee and family.

Hi - We have been to the Antalya area for the past 2 years - large AI hotels on the beach with loads for the kids to do.
You can get some good deals if the dates are right - We've booked the WOW Topkapi Palace in Lara Beach for next year for £2227 for 2 weeks over the Whitsun break for 2 adults & 2 kids with Thomas Cook.
Work that out as a daily rate and its excellent value for money for all you food, drinks, ice creams & great pools, beaches and endless things going on for the children.
The downside to this area perhaps is that there are pretty much just hotels nest to each other on the beach and not much else - shops in the area are expensive unless you take the trip into Antalya.
It depends what you want from the holiday really - if you want culture, scenery etc then that area of Turkey won't be for you and you will need to go more western Turkey like Olu Deniz, Icmeler etc.
If it just fully loaded, AI hotels on the beach and your happy to pretty much chill on the beach or poolside for 2 weeks then I can't recommend the Antalya/Side/ Lara areas enough!!0 -
The Alize hotel in Olu Deniz is nice. That's all inclusive and they do organised games during the day which will keep your elder two amused and it has a lovely paddling pool for little ones.
Olu Deniz is a lovely resort for families. You have the scenery and beautiful beaches. There's the main beach which is a little pebbly and drops deeply so nice for proper swimming. The lagoon beaches are more sandy and very shallow so nice for the the little one.
The resort is small and compact, with a laid back chill out feel. There are no loud discos so you don't get single sex groups or 18-30's visiting. It's mainly families and couples that go there, and paragliders as they jump off the mountain that overlooks the resort and land on the beach front (worth a go - fabulous experience!).
There is plenty of other accomodation there with different types of boarding too. Here I go again on my own....0 -
I have just recommended an activity holiday with Neilson. That is if you want to go to Turkey.
If not, how about going on a Sunsail holiday they used to do Turkey, but had to leave due to visas, they have a club in Greece, just come back from there, called Vounaki, very good.0
