Feeling angry with myself

Hey TMD! Don't worry hun, everything will be OK in the end. Hang in there! You've got all of us and hopefully a new job to keep that female mind from wandering off to dangerous territories!
CFC has it down to a T though. Made me smile for sureLeason learnt :beer:0 -
Hi TMD,
Moozie is correct, CFC has got it nailed, especially the 'me tarzan you jane' part.
In order to clear my debts I took a job 130 miles away from my other half. We found it a struggle at first but we've muggled through. Its been over 2 years now and we've developed a good routine. We only see each other at weekends (although I do sometimes drive back mid-week). It can be a bit upsetting but as long as you enjoy time you have together, the rest of the week will fly in especially when you get used to the idea.
Try not to be too down about it.
Regards,

thank you-it's good to hear from someone who has done it and is managing.I think you're right-once it's a routine it will be easier-it's just all so new at the moment and we've only been together 6 months so still feeling uncertain of our relationship.Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34

Hey TMD,
Don't worry and don't feel angry, the best thing is that you have realised and getting the debts under control. I'm sure that if he wanted to leave you he wouldn't be helping you pay off the debts. Is there anyway you can do extra work from home in the evenings that your sat in on your own. It'll keep your mind off things, and bring the moving back in date nearer?
You'll manage, and I bet you'll become an even better DFW as what bigger incentive could you have?
Good luck, and lots of hugs from me,
Lil'HRiding out the receession.........0 -
overall, as a couple, would you still be worse off if he moved in ? i would do the maths, just in case. YOu could both be suffering for nothing.
You might lose benefits but would save his other rent etc, his food bill (you can cook for one more without much additional cost - he is probably spends a bit on food) sky tv or whatver. Pooling your resources might be the best way, plus you get to be togther and you dont go out wasting money as you are happy just to be in each other company in the evening.
Good luck....another happy bug.........sorry,blogger embracing the simple life0 -
Yeah we looked into it and would be worse off at the moment because of the debts-my house is £750 a month so very high rent(lots of places don't like kids/pets) and council tax would be £1293 a year.I currently get my entire rent and council tax paid.We would be left with about the same amount of money per month(with both of us working) but as it is now he can give me £300 towards the debts extra which will obviously help pay it off quicker. We don't have sky tv.He would also be paying a lot more on petrol getting to his job.Once the debt goes down to about half it will be mangeable. He's given up smoking to save money and isn't into going out much.
I would like to work from home in the evenings but I haven't found anything I can do yet.Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34

Hi,
I would have the same things running through my head if I was in your situation, but sitting her rationally it will sort itself out...I will be fine
If you're looking for an evening job, how about looking on the mortgage free wannabe sticky called "a bit on the side"..there some great ideas there
All the very best *hugs*0 -

If you've only been together for 6 months and he's doing this for you, he's totally besotted..bless!
Best of luck honey, keep your eyes and mind on the positive, and remember, having a man is like training a dog...when he's done well, remember to give him a lot of pats and praise! :T0
