Sub £400 powerful desktop computer

I know everybody wants a laptop these days and we do have 2 in the house. But I still like to have a desktop computer as the main email, printing, gaming device - probably an age thing I know.
However, getting a sub £400 desktop with some gaming credibility, is more likely than a sub £400 laptop. I have a monitor, keyboard, etc so am just looking for a computer. I am not playing any high end games, just World of Warcraft, Sims (various editions), etc.
There seems to be a real dirth of decent desktops deals around this price at the moment. Even Dell seem to have dried up on deals at the moment. Does anybody have any recommendations? The best Dell at the moment seems to be an Inspiron 570 which comes with a 512MB NVidea GeForce G310 for £419 and I am not convinced that the G310 is that great. Apart from the games, it will just be emails, word, excel and other pretty basic tasks.

if building yourself you could try a barebones bundle to make life easier as well just add other bits like hdd graphics card etc etc from someone like this
