Yes, but if its the only food you eat in that week - how much would you normally be shelling out for food in a week, when you think about it.

If you don't have a lot of time then try Gillian Andersons 30 day shred. Ive been doing this a few days and Im starting to see a difference. I do go to the gym to but TBH I find that I work up a bigger sweat doing this 20 min intense workout.

Also, just cut out any junk food for the next few weeks and this should also have a positive difference.

Tummy wobble - have you a local gym you could go to? One that would treat you as an individual and design a personal programme for you? Sounds as if your muscles have got a bit slack and need to be tightened up, as well as the fat loss. See https://www.weightlossresources.co.uk

'Bit of a belly' - from what I see when out and about, this is a very common problem for both sexes and all ages!

Thanks for all your input guys. Having slept on it, I'm not sure that rushing to lose loads over the course of a month is a clever idea. I'd rather see gradual, but sustained, weight loss as its going to be better for my health and I'm more likely to keep it off rather than yo-yoing (I know what I'm like, and by building good habits with a sensilble approach I'm less likely to turn into a whale again!)

I've joined weight watchers and I'm starting my diet with them in earnest on Monday. As of Monday I will be cycling to the station and back every day (thats about an hour on the bike) and I've invested in some Alli - lets see if it all works :D

Hethmar, my normal food budget runs to about a tenner a week, I'm very thrifty

BTW, according to the machine at boots, current weight is 16st 9lb (105.8kg) and BMI is 30.6
