do 1960`s houses with cladding on front and back loose much heat

Hello

as the question says weve looked at a house built 1965 on an estate and there all built the same. It has cladding upstairs front and back below window,.

do these loose much heat through them.

are there ways of insulating them or replacing with brickwork?

    Those are tiles nailed to battens attached to the brickwork. If anything, they probably improve heat insulation due to the airgap between the tiles and the bricks.

    ok but what about internal. when i knock / tap the wall under the windows it sounds hollow like plasterboard. and the end/gable wall does aswell (but this is brick on the outside)

    Bricks are useless when it comes to retaining heat, people dont understand that.
    For everthing else there's mastercard.
    For clampers there's Barclaycard.

    If its got cavity walls you can put in cavity wall insulation - whatever cladding is on the outside.
