I agree, I've found everyone really nice on here. I only ever looked at one other wedding forum and have never gone back as every other comment was really horrible and rude.

I can see why people have posted the comments they have on the thread in question, I'm not really a fan of that sort of thing either but I'm more the type that wouldn't bother posting to say so, I just want a quiet life really, ha

I'm not saying that people aren't allowed to have differing opinions, far from it I just don't see the need to be aggressive, nasty and horrible whilst making it - simples!
There's a phrase that my Nan used to use which is 'if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all' I'd amend that to 'If you can't say anything nicely don't say anything at all'.

sammy - when you see people being "nasty" if you dont like it then hit the ignore button, that person will dissapear
there will be wind up merchants on every single forum you care to join, not every one will agree with you and not everyone cares wether what they say upsets you, deliberatly or not

if you cant ignore it, then IGNORE it!

I've used various forums for years and I find it hard to get upset by comments.
You just have to realise that not everyone has the same views, and some people like to incite a reaction, which is easily done from behind a keyboard, expecially when tone can be miscontrued.
Just take things with a pinch of salt & remember that people have different oppinions & ways of conducting themselves.

I think I must of missed something here I've not seen anyone be nasty lately. I know there is alot of sadness for a few people on here which we are really sad about.

Not seen any negativity otherwise.

Maybe you perceive it to be aggressive, when it's not. Everybody's got a different style of delivery - and everybody reads things differently.

I think you will find that is me, pointing out that wildlife can be harmed by balloons being released into the wild.

However, I have not been nasty; pointed but not nasty.

If the OP wanted total agreement and nothing whatsoever to be said in opposition to their views; perhaps they should point that out in their opening post.

thanks for all your comments everyone.
my day is the 23rd july 2011- so got a while yet, and i have having fun with planning it all- i cant imagine being negative about my day or anyone elses!
but i have just over a year to go, so not stressed yet hehe

completly agree that everyone has their own opinions and views, but i suppose the way people word them and get it across can appear quite negative at times

ohh and i didnt know there was an ignore button-useful!

i have had loads of ideas from posts on here, so i am not going to let it annoy me- just ignore it

I think you'll find I haven't started the thread - I was trying to be a voice of reason but gave up.
