Can you have 2 paypal accounts?

In order to recieve payment from a paypal buyer using their cc you need to have a premier paypal account but this also means that any payments you get even if they are not funded by cc will also be subject to the same percentage fee. If you wanted to avoid this situation can you open another paypal account exclusively for payments made not involving credit cards? Is it ok to have 2 paypal accounts simultaneously with different email addresses or is it against their t&c?

I have 2. One which I use for Quidco which I don't pay any fees for, and the other that I use for Ebay which I do. I haven't used 2 paypal accounts for Ebay, but if I was after a refund from someone I would ask for them send it to the quidco one. I use 2 separate bank accounts for each paypal account.

You can have one personal account and one premier account, but you cannot have two of the same type. So you'd be fine

Like others have said you can have two paypal accounts, a basic and a premier but they must have different bank accounts associated with them.

However, if you are planning to try and use the two to reduce paypal fees when using ebay it won't work as you have to allocate an email address associated with your paypal account when you list your item, so you would either have to show the basic one, and not tick the I accept paypal box' or show the premier one and pay fees on all payments.

I use my premier on ebay and my basic for Quidco only.

Thanks guys. I want to use one for ebay and one for everything else and it is this one that will be a personal account and from your replies I believe that there should be no problem.
