Lloyds - Charges (not reclaim)

Hi all, wondered if anyone else has noticed this?
I checked my bank account on-line yesterday as I was expecting some charges to go out of my account, wanted to make sure enough money was in the account (I have 3 current accounts with Lloyd's, but that's another story) Checked at 9am, 1pm and 4 pm. At the last check no charges had gone out of my account, strange I thought, maybe it was the 2nd they were due to come out.
So I log onto my internet banking this morning to find charges have gone out, dated 1st July!!! Now i know that Lloyd's state that for transactions to be classed as the current date they need to be made before 3pm. I've spoken to them about this before. I'm sure I'll be getting a letter shortly telling me that as my account was overdrawn on the 1st and not brought back into Credit before 3pm they are privileged to charge me.
Sorry but how can they put my charges through after 4pm when previously I've transferred money after 3pm to cover charges and they told me it wouldn't count as it's classed as the next working day. I wonder how many times this has happened!!!!
Hope this makes sense and wonder if any of you have noticed this?

If you find it hard to keep one account in positive balance, you would have had better not to keep 3! That is what I am thinking.0

Yeah, i'm meeting the bank next saturday to close 2 of them so i don't have to worry about the other 2 anymore after this month, I only had 3 as I tried to keep things seperate, Bills, Spending and Main.0

A few points:
* On the bottom of June's bank statement they told you it was coming out on the 1st July. Why not simply listen to them and leave the money there? The charge will ALWAYS comes out the day they say. The charge always comes out late evening along with interest, SMS charges and account fees.
*You knew 2 months ago when you went overdrawn in May that it was coming out in July, could you not have budgeted? Could you not have budgeted in the 1st place to avoid going overdrawn and get charges?
*Its 3:30pm and not 3 pm to put the money in. Lloyds never had the grace period before so even that helps you.
* Listen to this point carefully. If the charges itself took you overdrawn, yesterday you WILL NOT be charged.
*As someone rightly said, you can't manage one account, why have 3? Having mutliple accounts requires discipline and I would advise you to keep one only.0
