    Down - a lot of this stuff seems to be out of your control. For those bits follow this bit of advice '......and breathe'
    Don't think you'll have a lot of choice other than to just try to cope with it.

    I've had eye surgery on the second eye. Is hurting a wee bit but much better than first time round (they corrected this one a bit less so I wonder if that has something to do with it!)
    I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself so have stocked up with chocolate desserts and full fat coke. Under STRICT instructions from the OH not to have any alcohol with my co-codamol (That's what you get for going out with a chemist!!!)

    Why does the sun always shine REALLY BRIGHTLY on the days I have surgery?? :mad:

    Blimey it's very muggy and stormy here - it's gone all overcast and windy but the temperature just isn't dropping......me thinks we're in for a storm.

    Just harvested yet more mangetout and a big bowl of peas to go with tea. Something very satisfying about shelling your own home grown peas.

    DD2 has gone to a roller-disco party, what's the betting she comes back covered in bruises.

    I'm jealous now, somehow my pie & chips just doesnt cut it anymore.
    Off to have a hunt for some nurofen now, I have the toothache from hell :(
