iPod dead?

Hi there
I put my ipod in the docking station yesterday and it was working fine (I was actually wanting to check that the docking station worked). It all worked so turned both off but left the ipod sitting in the dock. Went to turn it on later in the evening and nothing! Thought maybe it had accidently been left on (the dock I have doesn't support charging) so plugged it in to charge it up and still nothing! HAs it just died?? It's not even that old (about 18 months) and hasn't been used that much.

Probably just got its knickers in a twist. Reset it. Don't know what model yours is but with mine you slide the hold button to lock and back then press menu and select until the Apple logo appears. Then it will reboot itself. HTH0
